The founder

Why Dave built CommuniTea

My vision for the CommuniTea community fundraising platform was to create a community-powered alternative to traditional fundraising, offering quality products people genuinely want and enjoy, while helping schools, clubs, charities, families and community groups raise funds transparently.

As a chef and business owner with more than 25 years of sales experience, I wanted to create something with genuine purpose.

Beyond Blue and CareFlight were chosen as our standing causes because their work is personally meaningful to me. Having lived with neurological challenges and experienced significant physical injuries, I understand how deeply mental health struggles and medical emergencies can affect individuals and their families.
